Who we are

EFB Store (www.efbstore.com) is a marketplace for eFootball accounts with escrow-protected payments, owned and operated by Ganiu EFB Store. Ganiu EFB Store is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the platform, why we collect it, where it lives and the choices you have.

What we collect

Your account. When you register, we store your name, email address and an authentication record (your password is never stored in readable form — only a hash managed by our auth provider).

Your public profile. If you set a profile photo, nickname, short bio or availability status, those are shown to other users on your profile, listings and search results.

Seller applications. If you apply to sell, we store your legal name, country, phone number, payout details (bank or mobile-money information you provide) and a photo of a government-issued ID. This data is used to verify sellers and pay out completed sales.

Chats and deals. Messages, images you send in chat, offers, orders and their statuses are stored to run the marketplace, provide the deal record and resolve disputes.

Reviews. Reviews you leave after a completed sale show your name partially hidden (e.g. “A. R.”) on the seller's public profile.

Payments. Payments are processed by Flutterwave. We store the transaction references and amounts needed to run escrow, payouts and refunds — we never see or store your full card details; those go directly to Flutterwave at checkout.

Technical data. Like any web service, we receive standard logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) through our hosting and payment providers, used for security and abuse prevention.

What is public and what is not

  • Public: your display nickname (or name, if you haven't set a nickname), profile photo, bio, availability status, listings, completed-sale count and reviews you leave.
  • Restricted: your email address, the full name behind a nickname and your buyer-only activity. Your real name is visible only to platform administrators and support handling your account or deals.
  • Private: seller application data, including your ID document and payout details. ID documents are stored in private storage and are only viewable by administrators reviewing your application, through temporary signed links.

Where your data is stored

The platform runs on Supabase, a managed cloud database and storage provider. Account data is protected by row-level security rules so users can only access data that belongs to them. Chat images are stored in a public bucket so buyers and sellers can view them; ID documents are stored in a private bucket that only administrators can open.

Why we use your data

  • To operate the marketplace: accounts, listings, chat, offers, orders and escrow.
  • To verify sellers before they can list, as part of our trust and safety responsibilities.
  • To send payouts to sellers and refunds to buyers through Flutterwave.
  • To resolve disputes — the in-platform chat is the evidence record support and administrators review.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

Who we share data with

  • Flutterwave (payments): the details needed to process your payment, payout or refund.
  • Supabase (hosting): storage and processing of the platform's data as described above.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to disclose information.
  • We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in (your session) and to remember your preferences (language/region and theme). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep data

We keep your account data while your account is active. Chat and order records are retained after completion because they are the dispute record and the basis of seller statistics. Seller verification documents are kept while you sell on the platform. If you close your account, we remove or de-identify your personal data, except for records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.

Your rights

  • Access: you can ask what data we hold about you.
  • Correction: you can fix your profile details yourself; contact us for application data.
  • Deletion: you can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data, subject to the retention exceptions above.
  • Objection and restriction: you can ask us to stop or limit a specific use of your data where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@efbstore.com or contact us through the platform. We respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Security

We protect data with access controls, row-level security, private storage for sensitive documents and encrypted connections. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please also protect your account: use a strong, unique password and never share your login.

Children

EFB Store is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform changes. The “last updated” date at the top changes when we do, and significant changes are announced on the platform. See also our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy.
